There are two aspects of Shaktipat Intensives with Durga Ma:
(1) Receiving the transmission of shakti
(2) Knowing what to do with itYou will receive important information relevant to the special practice of shaktipat kundalini yoga (SKY), a spontaneous experiential Surrender Meditation, and the natural
awakening of kundalini.
Intensives include a massive amount of information on kundalini, chakras, lokas, granthis, yoga cosmology, stages of progress, spiritual powers, and more.
To Take an Intensive
(1) Questionnaire
If you wish to receive shaktipat initiation from Durga Ma, your first step will be to complete a short questionnaire.
You may request a questionnaire by email. Please enter the word "QUESTIONNAIRE" in the Subject line of your email. Return the questions with your answers according to the instructions given.
A Shaktipat Intensive with Durga Ma includes shaktipat diksha and initiation into Shaktipat Kundalini Yoga (Surrender Meditation). Your answers to these questions will help her get to know you, and to determine whether or not this type of meditation is appropriate and beneficial for you at this time.
(2) Preparation
Preparation involves following simple instructions for a period of approximately two weeks prior to initiation. If you are accepted as an initiation candidate, instructions will be sent to you by email.
Upon receipt of preparation instructions, you should schedule your Intensive via email and reserve your scheduled time by completing Part 3 below:
(3) Education
Intensives are held privately or semi-privately with Durga Ma, by appointment only. Intensive information is provided over a period of one or two days.
Subjects covered include, but are not limited to, spiritual development, shaktipat kundalini yoga (Surrender Meditation), kundalini, chakras, lokas, granthis, yoga cosmology, stages of progress, special powers, etc.

(4) Initiation
Having prepared for a period of approximately two weeks or more, after brief instructions you will receive shaktipat
directly from Durga Ma and become initiated into the practice of Surrender Meditation (shaktipat kundalini yoga).
You may receive shaktipat spontaneously at any time during an Intensive, or even before or afterwards.
Initiation generally takes about one hour and will be held concurrent with your Intensive.
